The field is organised into repeating diamond medallions, each with a small floral-star centre and stepped lattice surrounds that read softly at a distance. The wool pile shows low distress and subtle abrash that emphasize a quietly lived-in surface. The borders retain clear graphic definition while the field’s tones have mellowed to a warm, antique quality. Circa 1920 - 1935. Measurements: 9' 0" x 17' 0". This antique rug reads as both tactile and considered, its age lending depth rather than overt wear.
