Woven in wool, the composition balances saturated reds, cream outlines, and grounded charcoal panels with a steady rhythm of floral and geometric detail. The borders carry a more tonal, time-softened register, while the interior fields shift from dark to luminous with subtle variation. Circa 1925 - 1940, it presents with low distress and an honest, lightly worn surface that preserves the character of the weave. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
