This Khotan antique rug measures 7' 0" x 13' 2", and its long, lantern-like format is animated by a series of connected medallions over a warm gold field. A dark central motif anchors the composition, while small floral sprays and finely spaced blossoms soften the geometry with a lighter hand. The borders layer blue, brown, and rose accents against a gently worn ground, creating depth without heaviness. With low distress and a quietly faded surface, it carries the settled character of a piece that has lived well. Circa 1900 - 1920.
