This Khotan antique rug measures 5' 10" x 11' 3" and presents a warm, time-softened field in red, cream, and muted gold. A central medallion anchors the composition, while small floral and geometric motifs are dispersed across the open ground in a balanced, rhythmic layout. Layered borders add definition without overwhelming the field, giving the piece a measured, elegant presence. The wool surface shows low distress, with gentle fading and visible age that soften the palette and enrich the character. Circa 1900 - 1915.
