This Khotan antique rug measures 7' 0" x 12' 10" and carries a softened, timeworn surface in red, pink, cream, and white. The field is drawn with an airy allover floral lattice, framed by a Greek key-style border and narrow floral guards that keep the composition structured while the centre shows a darker distressed band. Worn areas and mellow fading lend depth to the wool and a quietly layered look. Circa 1900 - 1920, it reads as both graphic and muted, with the calm patina that defines a well-aged Khotan.
