This Khotan antique rug measures 8' 10" x 17' 9" and carries a softly faded, earthy presence in wool. The field balances linear floral forms, small geometric devices, and a restrained central medallion, all framed by layered borders that give the composition structure without feeling rigid. Warm brown, cream, and muted taupe tones are lifted by traces of pale blue-grey. The surface shows medium wear and an even, timeworn patina that softens the detail beautifully.
