This Khotan antique rug measures 8' 7" x 17' 8" and presents a long, restrained field arranged in repeating panelised compartments. Soft ivory ground tones are lifted by faded rose, coral red, blush pink, and traces of muted gold, creating a quiet, layered surface with a worn glow. The border framing remains legible, while the interior motifs have softened beautifully with age. Circa 1900 - 1915, it carries the calm, weathered presence that defines an antique rug, with medium distress that enhances its tactile depth rather than diminishing it.
