This Kurd antique rug measures 3' 7" x 10' 10" and presents a lively field of diagonal bands layered with small geometric marks in red, brown, cream, and muted blue. A narrow border system in warm neutrals and jewel-toned accents frames the composition, giving the piece a clear tribal rhythm without feeling rigid. The wool surface has a soft hand and a lightly worn character that suits its age. Circa 1900 - 1915, it carries the grounded palette and expressive patterning associated with Kurd weaving, with enough variation in tone to keep the surface visually rich.
