This Khotan antique rug measures 6' 9" x 13' 3" and presents a layered field of navy blue, cream, and faded blue ornament. A large central medallion anchors the composition, while small floral, geometric, and auspicious motifs move across the field in a measured rhythm. Multiple borders frame the design with quiet precision, adding depth to the overall structure. The wool surface shows medium wear, with softened colour and visible age that lend the piece a calm, lived-in presence. Circa 1905 - 1920, it carries the restrained elegance and decorative balance associated with classic Khotan weaving.
