This Kurd antique rug measures 11' 5" x 17' 9" and presents a timeworn, architectural layout in wool. Three vertical columns of elongated medallions rise through a restrained field, framed by narrow patterned borders and a softly handled outer guard. The palette moves between faded brown, ivory, dusty blue, and muted teal, with touches of rust that lift the surface. Medium wear has mellowed the drawing and blurred the high points, giving the piece a calm, lived-in presence. Circa 1900 - 1915. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
