The long field is arranged with geometric medallions, floral roundels, and small compass-like motifs, all framed by a layered border with crisp drawing and a lively pink ground. The surface shows gentle fading and low distress, which softens the palette without diminishing its clarity. Circa 1885 - 1900, it carries the quiet balance and decorative rhythm that define the Khotan tradition, with wool lending a supple, tactile presence throughout.
