This Hamadan antique rug measures 7' 3" x 12' 9" and presents a richly worn field of small geometric motifs softened by time. The composition is anchored by a layered border system, with floral and angular details that frame the long, medallion-free center. Faded teal and indigo dominate, while terracotta, ivory, rust, and camel provide quiet contrast across the wool surface. The palette has mellowed into a painterly patina, lending the piece a grounded, lived-in character. Circa 1900 - 1915. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
