This Ghashgai antique rug measures 3' 2" x 5' 7" and carries a richly layered field of dusty blue and rust red framed by a restrained geometric border. The stepped diamond medallion settles the composition, while scattered floral and boteh motifs give the surface a lively, hand-drawn rhythm. Soft cream and brown accents temper the palette, and the medium distress lends the piece an aged, matte character that feels well balanced rather than worn away.
