This Kurd antique rug, 4' 2" x 8' 10", carries a richly layered field of geometric medallions, floral bursts, and nested border bands in teal, rust, ivory, camel, and gold. The design feels densely woven and lively, yet time has softened the surface with substantial wear and faded passages that add depth rather than distraction. Across the centre, the patina is especially pronounced, creating a textured, lived-in character that reads as both rugged and refined. Circa 1905 - 1920, it reflects the graphic language and warm tonal balance that define many Kurd rugs.
