The field is organised in a repeating geometric lattice, each form holding floral detail and subtle medallion character, while layered borders bring a measured frame to the composition. The surface shows medium distress, with visible fading that softens the contrast and lends the rug an aged, atmospheric depth. Circa 1965 - 1980, it carries the balanced ornament and restrained colour story that define the most considered Mashad rugs.
