Cream and white highlights punctuate the design while a warm, restrained border frames the pattern with refined rhythm. The surface shows low distress and even wear that preserves texture and clarity; subtle abrash gives the blues a soft, lived-in depth. This antique rug measures 9' 1" x 11' 7" and reads as a careful study in colour and form. Circa 1895 - 1925, the piece articulates a heritage sensibility and an exacting floral vocabulary.
