A softly worn Sultanabad with a dominant central medallion suspended in a field of scrolling floral vines. Woven in wool, the palette reads as neutral ground warmed by muted red and cream accents and traces of white. The surface shows medium distress and a supple patina where pile and colour have mellowed into layered tones. The border retains more concentrated red ornament, framing the quieter field. This antique rug carries an easy, tactile presence that speaks to age and use while preserving its design clarity. Circa 1885 - 1925. Dimensions: 10' 5" x 13' 2".
