An Amritsa in wool, this antique rug reads as quietly refined: an olive-tinged field set with a suspended central medallion and a measured palmette border. The neutral, brown and gold palette is layered with age, showing soft abrash and an even, medium-worn pile that accentuates the floral detailing and carved medallion. The composition retains clarity despite wear, offering tactile depth and a quiet, heritage-aware presence. This piece measures 9' 6" x 12' 10" and carries the restraint and handwork of earlier production. Circa 1900 - 1915. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
