This Amritsa antique rug measures 10' 3" x 13' 0" and presents a softly faded all-over lattice ground in cream, gold, lilac, and teal. The field is built from repeating floral forms, held within a scrolling vine border that gives the composition a measured, orderly rhythm. Wool lends the surface a supple, worn hand, while the low distress and areas of abrasion create a muted luminosity across the design. Circa 1920 - 1935, it carries the quiet patina and aged softness that define this Amritsa. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
