Handwoven in wool, the design reads as layered floral arabesques and vine work framed by a broad foliate border. The red within the medallion has mellowed into a rosy core, tempered by brown and neutral tones across the ground. Low distress and an even patina reveal gentle abrash and a supple surface that invites touch. This antique rug carries the quiet authority of age and craft while remaining visually serene.
