This Farahan Sarouk presents a formal medallion composition in warm red and deep navy, balanced by cream and ivory highlights. Woven in wool, the field is densely worked with flowering vines and small palmettes while stepped spandrels frame an ivory central medallion. Low, even wear softens the surface and produces a tactile, heritage patina without obscuring the border detail. Subtle abrash lends depth to the red ground and the palette reads quietly layered.
