An elegant Farahan Sarouk in wool, the field saturated in deep navy and arranged as a medallion lattice of rosettes and palmettes. At 10' 10" x 12' 7" the pattern reads as a steady procession of floral vines and small-scale ornament, the rust main border and cream guard bands providing a warm frame. The wool pile remains soft with low overall wear and subtle abrash that animates the dark ground. This antique rug pairs concentrated colour with a refined, tactile surface and carefully preserved borders, a composition that speaks of handwork and time. Circa 1910 - 1940
