An Oushak in warm neutrals and gold, this antique rug presents a generous medallion articulated within a stepped field and layered guard borders. Wool pile reads soft and low-sheen, the palette moving from cream and ivory to muted gold with restrained accenting. Wear is minimal, creating a soft-aged patina and gentle abrash that emphasizes the geometry of the motifs. Motifs remain clearly defined while the surface holds a tactile, settled finish. The Oushak measures 10' 6" x 12' 10" and carries an easy, heritage-aware presence. Circa 1885 - 1915. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
