A quietly composed Sultanabad in a pale, neutral field, this wool antique rug reads as a studied wash of cream and warm beige with muted salmon and blue accents. The allover medallion-and-roundel pattern is rendered with a worn, painterly hand; borders repeat the same floral vocabulary in a softer register. The surface shows medium distress and even abrash that reveal the rug’s layered history while retaining a tactile, low-sheen pile. Circa 1920 - 1935. Size: 12' 2" x 16' 5". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
