The Farahan Sarouk presents a restrained, antique rug presence: a large rust-red field punctuated by a deep navy medallion and sage green cartouches. Fine floral chains and serrated outlines move rhythmically toward a layered set of guard borders rendered in navy, ivory, and muted blue. The wool pile retains a low level of wear, with subtle abrash that softens the color transitions and reveals the piece’s age.
