This Oushak presents a whisper-soft palette of pink and cream across a generous field, the motifs subdued by time and handling. The wool shows a soft nap with even abrash and medium distress that lends depth to the faded medallion and scalloped cartouche. A wide, pale border reads as a quiet frame, its foliate and geometric accents barely raised against the ground. Handwoven character remains in the subtle irregularities and the softened edges. This antique rug measures 8' 4" x 13' 0" and carries a calm, tactile presence shaped by age. Circa 1900 - 1920.
