A Zaboul of quiet, tactile presence, woven in wool and refined to a soft neutral palette with hints of light blue and warm tan. The field arranges repeating octagonal medallions in a disciplined grid, punctuated by small star and lozenge motifs and framed by a restrained outer border. Surface wear and even abrash have mellowed the colours and softened the design vocabulary, giving the piece an assured antique rug character. Measurements: 4' 1" x 8' 0". Circa 1905 - 1925. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
