This Oushak presents a restrained red medallion set on a soft gray field, handwoven in wool with an open, tactile pile and layered floral motifs. The stepped cartouche and smaller lozenge repeats create a relaxed, classical composition framed by cream and white floral borders. Low distress and subtle abrash preserve the clothlike feel while revealing an aged patina across the field. The scale is intimate and measured: 3' 9" x 6' 0".
