A large Oushak woven in wool, its warm terracotta field softened by sand and ivory highlights around a stepped diamond medallion. At 14' 2" x 20' 1" the composition reads with measured restraint; layered borders and hooked geometric motifs give the design a rhythmic, tactile presence. Muted blue and dark brown accents animate the field while low distress preserves a gently patinated surface. This antique rug carries the quiet weight of time through colour and texture rather than restoration, a piece that feels both architectural and lived-in. Circa 1900 - 1915.
