A faded Mahal at 6' 9" x 10' 0", rendered in dusty salmon, softened blues and cream. The field organizes repeating floral medallions and circular rosettes within a narrow, repeating floral border. Surface wear and medium distress have blurred outlines and introduced painterly abrash across the wool, lifting highlights and muting contrast. The piece reads as an antique rug that shows the passage of use while retaining compositional clarity; layered colour and worn texture give it a tactile, lived-in presence.
