Shirvan wool runner, 6' 2" x 13' 0", presents a disciplined procession of stepped diamond medallions and densely packed geometric fillers. Layered narrow borders and crisp cream accents frame a dark, tactile ground that reads as restrained neutral with bright highlights. The surface shows low wear and a lived patina that enhances the handworked motifs without obscuring their geometry. As an antique rug its craft-forward vocabulary is clear, the composition retaining a strong sense of proportion and rhythm.
