This Bijar presents a restrained palette of neutral, brown and cream worked in dense wool. The 7' 5" x 11' 1" field reads like a floral lattice, its palmettes and looping vines softened by a long history of use. Areas of abrash and modest pile loss reveal a livable, tactile surface; borders keep a coral-washed counterpoint to the pale center. The wool pile reads soft and low, tactile under hand. The weave retains graceful geometry despite medium distress, offering a layered, sun-faded presence. This antique rug carries the quiet patina of age and time-worn craft. Circa 1915 - 1930
