The all-over arrangement balances stylised palmettes and geometric florals against a broad red guard border, the colours mellowed to a tactile patina. Low distress preserves crisp motif definition and a soft, supple hand. This antique rug reads as both orderly and richly detailed, its surface carrying the calm warmth of natural dyes. Circa 1850 - 1870. Size: 9' 10" x 12' 3". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
