An expansive Bakhshaish woven in warm red and neutral tones, the ivory field arranged in a disciplined tree-of-life lattice punctuated by small floral sprigs. A wide geometric border of octagonal cartouches frames the repeating composition; the wool pile retains tactile clarity with low distress and a soft, aged patina that tempers the reds toward terracotta. The balance of measured geometry and hand-formed motifs gives the piece quiet presence and clear surface texture. This antique rug reads as both crafted and time-softened. Circa 1885 - 1905.
