A stepped central medallion and scalloped corner spandrels hold restrained floral palmettes, the motifs set within a narrow foliate border. The wool shows medium distress, a softened pile and an even, tactile wear that reads like patina; pattern and colour modulation remain legible and serene. This antique rug carries a quiet, heritage presence and measures 11' 0" x 12' 8". Circa 1885 - 1900 The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
