Abrash and softened pile give the surface a painterly, lived-in depth while muted blue and ivory highlights articulate the pattern. This antique rug carries visible age in balanced distress, the composition remaining remarkably legible. Circa 1890 - 1930. Measures 10' 0" x 11' 9", medium distress that emphasizes texture and colour variation. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
