A quietly luminous Sivas in wool, this antique rug balances a pale cream field with taupe and soft grey forming a patterned medallion and floral lattice. The design reads like a softened drawing, its borders and palmettes mellowed by medium wear and gentle abrash. Texturally tactile, the wool shows a low, even pile with a worn surface that reveals layered colour and time.
