A soft, weathered Sivas in wool, 4' 0" x 9' 0", that reads like a faded watercolor. A scalloped medallion and niche rise in apricot across a pale aqua field, their outlines softened by even abrash and patient wear. Narrow foliate borders in cream and brown frame delicate sprigs, rosettes, and stylised palmettes dispersed through the field. Medium distress has smoothed the pile and muted the colour, leaving a tactile, timeworn patina. This antique rug retains an architectural rhythm where small brown accents and occasional rose notes punctuate the neutral ground. Circa 1900 - 1930
