A generous Sultanabad in wool, this antique rug presents a soft neutral field punctuated by vibrant red palmettes and cream accents across a formal floral lattice. The wide red border frames the composition with repeating floral scrolls and finely scaled guard bands. Surface wear is restrained and even, preserving the clarity of the motifs while imparting a gentle patina to the wool pile.
