Measuring 3' 9" x 11' 2", this antique rug presents a repeating floral lattice enlivened by small palmettes and a narrow rosette guard border. Low distress preserves a soft hand while subtle abrash imparts layered colour depth and a sun-aged patina. The motifs retain a crisp, measured geometry that speaks to generational craft and restrained ornament. Circa 1885 - 1905. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
