This Oushak presents a warm mustard field punctuated by small geometric palmettes and a stepped central tree-of-life motif. A soft neutral border with rhythmic, bird-like forms frames the field, while subtle abrash and gentle surface wear lend a tactile patina. The wool shows a low distress level and a plush, brushed pile that preserves clear color notes in red, cream and neutral tones. The piece reads as an antique rug with considered restraint and a textile-like flatness at its center. Circa 1900 - 1920. Size: 2' 8" x 4' 9".
