A generous Oushak defined by a warm red field and a luminous golden border, this antique rug carries a large, stepped central medallion framed by flowering vines and delicate pale-blue accents. The wool pile reads soft and low, the surface showing a subtle, even abrash that deepens the colour and affirms age without heavy wear. Pattern edges remain crisp against the neutral guard stripes, giving the composition a calm, tactile clarity. Circa 1900 - 1915. Size: 12' 9" x 16' 8".
