A narrow Sarouk runner in wool, its ivory field punctuated by repeating palmettes and flowering sprays in green, rust and navy. The composition reads as a measured sequence of mirrored medallion clusters framed by a finely drawn floral border, executed with crisp detail and low surface wear. Neutrals have mellowed to a warm cream while the coloured motifs remain defined, conveying the calm restraint of traditional Sarouk design. Circa 1910 - 1930. This antique rug measures 2' 6" x 11' 0" and offers a tactile, heritage-minded presence with subtle, time-earned patina.
