An elegant Sarouk in a soft cream ground, handwoven in wool and presenting a refined, low-distress surface. The allover field arranges palmettes, boteh-inspired forms and scrolling vines into a measured, symmetrical composition; a narrow multi-band border of repeating rosettes contains the design. Accents of red sit quietly against neutral and white tones, giving measured colour contrast while preserving a luminous, aged look. The pile is soft to the touch and the motifs retain fine outline despite gentle surface smoothing. This antique rug measures 6' 7" x 9' 5" and reads as a quiet, heritage piece. Circa 1910 - 1930
