A pronounced red field and a bold, navy-centered medallion define this Bakhshaish. Woven in wool, the composition balances geometric motifs and stylised palmettes against a light-blue guard border and warm brown outlines. The surface reads tactile and lived-in yet finely preserved, consistent with low distress and soft abrash that animate the colour. This antique rug retains a strong graphic presence while showing modest, honest wear that only deepens its character. Circa 1890 - 1920. Measurements: 7' 9" x 12' 0". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
