The field presents a dense, geometric floral lattice in cream and warm taupe, balanced by a wide foliate border punctuated with rosette and animal motifs. Surface wear is consistent with medium distress, producing gentle abrash and a supple, low pile. The long proportions and tonal simplicity read as understated refinement. This antique rug measures 6' 9" x 18' 4" and carries an intimate sense of age and tactility. Circa 1900 - 1920. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
