An Oushak in a warm red ground threaded with rose and neutral highlights, this wool runner presents vertical rows of stylised medallions and triangular corner spandrels within an ivory cartouche. The multi-band border reads in gold, blue-grey and orange, softened by a low level of wear and a gentle abrash that lends a brushed, tactile surface. The weave reads as time-softened but sound, a study in restrained color and texture that celebrates material craft. Circa 1920 - 1935.
