An elegant Gharabah in wool, this antique rug measures 6' 9" x 9' 9" and presents a dense floral-lattice field in saturated red and soft pink, set within a broad cream border punctuated by circular medallions. The composition reads crisp despite a history of gentle use; color retains depth with subtle abrash across the field that adds visual texture. Low distress and careful, even wear keep the surface tactile and alive. Circa 1880 - 1900. The hand of traditional design is evident in the repeating motifs and layered guard borders, offering a quiet, heritage-aware presence.
