This Gharabah runner presents a tactile sequence of stacked boteh-like medallions set against a deep brown field, the motifs worked in warm red and neutral highlights on wool. The composition reads with calm geometry; serrated diapering, small star rosettes and a narrow multi-band border frame the central register. Low distress allows the original color relationships to remain vivid while discreet abrash gives the surface subtle depth. An antique rug with evident hand and time-earned character, it measures 3' 0" x 12' 5" and carries a restrained, artisanal presence. Circa 1885 - 1905.
