An elongated Oushak runner in a warm coral-red field, this antique rug balances saturated colour with a quiet, tactile presence. Repeating hooked motifs punctuate the centre while multiple narrow cream and white borders read as a banded frieze of small rosettes and geometric medallions. The wool pile retains a soft low sheen and low distress, with gentle abrash adding depth across the field. Edges remain intact with modest end wear that preserves the rug’s relaxed character. Circa 1910 - 1925. Dimensions: 3' 1" x 8' 0". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
